I was placed on hold and transferred to 4 different people totalling 1 1/2 hours the evening of Dec 17, 2008. The people were rude and never listened to what I had to say. It was determined that I need a new battery for my E1505 bought 1 1/2 years ago and has been in its case and not used since 3-2008. I told them to order the battery for the charge of $131+. I was transferred to a person that could do the prorper paperwork to get htis battery. After talking with her for 20 minutes she told me that she would have to transfer me again to a person that can make that sell. I was told that she could not do it since I reside in Texas. So after another 5 minute hold period I received what seemed like a nice person and she took my order. She also promised it would be shipped the next day, gave me the order number and promised an email to confirm the purchase for my records. I never received a copy of the invoice as promised. I called the next day and spent another 1hour 45 minutes on the phone to be yelled at and to witness the worst customer service ever that I have received Iw as told that the battery will not go out until the 22nd to be delivered here not before the 29th. Even though I reiterated the promise from the previous night I was told that she did not care and that she would not change it back to the 18th for shippment. I asked for a supervisor. I was told after holding another 25 minutes that a supervisor was not available and that I could call back after I wait an additional 14 minutes. I was also told that I would recieve no copy of the invoice and that a supervisor could not call me because I contacted an in-bound call center only another lie. When I go online to pull a copy of the invoice, it is no where to be found. The total $131+ has been taken from the available balance on my Dell Preferred account. I have never received the run around so expertly done by any company in the past. Dell has proven that they care about themselves and do not care at all for their customers.
