I bought a laptop dell inspiron at staples for $399. Not only did it not come with anything including antivirus and Microsoft word but by the time I walked out of there I spent $800 with a 2 yr warranty. After one year I had and virus and had to mail it t staples and "wait 14 days" by the way and when they mailed it back they said it was a hard drive issue and have to wipe out the computer and I lost everything!!! Wow was I devastated. Then 1 1/2 yrs later (2 1/2 yrs) after original purchase the SAME thing happened.... My laptop would not go to the home screen and kept going to the boot menu. I canned staples and was out of warranty---NO HELP THERE. They said call Dell so I did and after 2 hrs with a mean technical support rep my computer was still not fixed. They said I was out of warranty after one year and that there was nothing they can do... Real nice right... They said though that if I pau $159 for assistance and then possibly more depending on what the issue is they would try and fix it.. Really a $399 dollar computer balrajd Jew and I need to pay half that for someone to look at it??????? So after 2 hrs with no help I demanded a supervisor or CEO and they said someone from the "escalation team would olcontact me within 72 hrs" which he just did today and I was on the phone with this mean, unprofessional person for total of 2 min before I hang up... He was not considerate, would not let me finish speaking and raised his voice to me!!!!! I asked hin for the CEO's address ti write a letter and he said he is the "highest position that I can contact"..... WOW.....I have never dealt with such a huge company like Dell and will NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!l
